FNLThere is a rumour that the struggling drama Friday Night Lights has escaped the axe by a whisker and that NBC are applying the defibrillator as we speak. NBC has apparently done a deal with DirecTV to fund a third season. All of which is very boring industry news unless you happen you be a fan of the show or into buff young angst ridden American football players or pretty young angst ridden cheerleaders.
