YouTube’s newest corporate competitor, HULU, brought to you by FOX and NBC, is now open for business. The site is an online video on demand service with hundreds of movies and TV shows…which you can watch for free…with brief adverts. As for content, the “anywhere, anytime” site, only available to users in the United States, lets you catch up on episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and King Of The Hill, TV shows from FOX, as well as shows from NBC, and over fifteen cable channels. Hulu is not a repository of user generated content like YouTube or a download service like iTunes. TV shows and movies can only be streamed through Hulu or one of its partners’ Flash players, not downloaded to your desktop or portable media player. What are you waiting for, get streaming…
