Now that the scandal is slowly blowing over, Tiger Woods is going to make a public apology for his recent tomfoolery tomorrow on live TV. Seth Macfarlane toyed with the idea of mocking Tiger on Family Guy but decided to focus his attention on someone who, some might say, is susceptible to a wisp of innocent repartee with a recent episode depicting a girl with down's syndrome who goes on a date with Chris Griffin. Although the punch line was revolved around how demanding she was rather than her condition or that her mother was the Governor of Alaska...Family Guy is one of FX's favourites. Behind True Blood. True Blood starts next week...There's your somewhat convoluted six degrees.

We're getting all 24: Day 8 on you, with the countdown to the second season of True Blood. There have been a lot of requests to remind all of you when the show is going to air, so I have inserted a clock counting down the days, minutes hours and seconds to that moment you've been waiting for. DEXTER'S RECOVERY

Michael C Hall who plays everyone's favourite serial killer Dexter Morgan, recently released a statement that he has been undergoing treatment for cancer. Luckily doctors diagnosed him in the cancer's early stages and he is in complete remission and continuing with treatment. We'll keep you posted but here's wishing him a full recovery.

A MISANTHROPIST ON STAGE AND ON SCREEN IN LIFE

Thespian and TV actor Damian Lewis has set aside his on-screen appearances to perform on the West End in a production A Misanthrope with Miss Knightly. But we at FX missed him on the small screen, so as of next month we're bringing Lewis back from the stage, as a misanthropist of some sort.

Damian stars as Detective Charlie Crews in American cop show Life and season two starts Feb 16th. Lewis' character was framed for a murder he didnt commit, sentenced to life in prison, but then released and compensated with a hell of a lotta cash. He eats more than the required five a day and is a born again Zen believer. However, he trusts no one and makes it his goal in this second chance at life to find out who framed him and why. Hard hitting stuff, but its witty, gripping and its back with bang.

So it's a new year and we're all already feeling under the weather, literally. Snow, sneezes and snappy commuters, it's never a good way to ring in the new year. But FX is here to make sure its a good one. Seeing as we don't particularly want to go outside in the cold, turn on the telly, wrap up warm and make yourself a cuppa. Laugh a long with Family Guy, puzzle your mind watching NCIS, grip your sofa's and jump on your partners when a vampire flashes across your screens on True Blood.

WE'RE NOT ON STRIKE, JUST HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Merry Christmas FX viewers!

Firstly, what a good year it has been for television. Especially following on from the strike, which really didnt do anyone any good. We saw the launch of the fangtastic Alan Ball series True Blood. Likeable serial killer Dexter Morgan kept up appearances in his third season. Harvey Keitels perfomance in the American remake of Life on Mars made Phil Glenister proud (we hope...). "I'm f*cking out" became an exit the room catch phrase in the office after Danny McBride graced our screens in the hilarious HBO comedy Eastbound and Down. Family Guy's spoof of Star Wars had us falling out of our chairs and Nip Tuck perfected our what to watch schedules with the long over do second parter of season five.

What will take over your box sets next year? True Blood returns in Feb, Damien Lewis makes us proud after his stint on the West End with the return of Zen cop series Life. Expect the biggest twist of the year when Dexter season four wraps up Spring schedules. And could it be Mark Harmon's farewell when season eight of NCIS keeps us on our toes?

In the meantime, if you're wondering why some of your favourite series aren't airing when you think they should this month...don't fret...they are just taking a break for the holidays, as is Fox Insider, and will resume in the New Year, as always, as promised.

Finally!!! I can confirm an air date for those true blood desperados of season two on FX! Are you ready...Friday...10pm...February....26th.

We're talking more sex, more blood and more intrigue. Expect new weird creatures, full frontal nudity and cliff hangers that will make your blood boil! So remember to tune in next year.

Whilst Tiger's still in the woods, we at FX couldn't help but share something...a little different with you today.The Dexter iPhone case! Are you a little stumped what to get that special someone for Xmas? Do you know someone who is a fan Dexter (if you know someone who isn't a fan then make sure to delete them from your iPhone contacts list)? Then this is the ultimate Christmas gift.

The hardshell cases sit snug on a bed of (fake) blood spattered foam. Our kind of accessory to be sure. In the meantime, Dexter 3 will return to your TV sets shortly if you missed it the first time round. And if you're ahead of the game, expect to watch season four starring John Lithgow this summer.

OH NO. NO NO. SPIES DON'T GET FIRED, THEY GET RENEWED

Don't you just hate it when you find out your favourite tv show gets the axe? Yes. We all do. But not today we don't. Our favourite spy, cop, DIY tipper show Burn Notice has been renewed...for a fourth season! Although trades reported that Burn Notice had been picked up last summer, in actual fact the pickup was only officially official officially as of a few days ago. That's official. So if you're enjoying BN season ..--- (thats two in Morse code) then I hope today will be one of those days when you can look up at the the gods in the sky running our TV networks and say "hey, one of my favourite shows wasn't axed today. Thanks USA Network".

And on another note, I officially came across this bit of viral today and I wanted to share it with you, as it made my Friday morning just that much more enjoyable. Its the muppets performing their rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody, the greatest Karaoke song of all time.

NCIS fans, things just keep getting better and better for you! Thanks to the upcoming season seven break , we will only be one week behind the US. In tonight's episode the team get ghoulish with a Halloween special, beware of pranks. Ok so its a week after Halloween, but hey, better than six months...don't miss it, Friday nights at 9pm.

Also tune in to Life on Mars US. Tonight's episode is a real ball breaker. And you'll see a special guest appearance from Whoopi Goldberg! Yes, you heard right. Whoopi "where have you been since Made in America" Goldberg! Who knows, maybe Ted Danson will make a cameo.

Following recent events last week involving the BNP leader Nick Griffin on the BBC, I thought I'd lighten the mood a bit and find out what an episode of Question Time would be like with Peter Griffin as its guest.

Mr Griffin, we understand you are running, against your wife, for school board president. What made you decide to run and why against your wife? "This is life. So go and have a ball. Because the world don't move to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for you may not be right for some. You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have...my opening statement. Sit, Ubu, sit. Good dog."

Ok...Let's take a question from the audience. You sir, the dog in the back. "Um yeah hi, my name is Brian. Peter, what do you hope to change by running? What are your policies? I mean it sounds to me like you're only running to reinstate your teacher who is evidently mentally challenged. Lois is the most likely candidate ... "hehehehehe"

"Um..What's so funny?" "You said retarded"

"No, no I didn't. I said mentally challenged." "Now I may be an idiot, but there is one thing I am not, sir, and that, sir, is an idiot"

Ok let's move on to our next question. The young boy in the purple hat. "I'm a girl." Oh. Really? Are you sure. "Yes I'm sure!" Oh, let's move on. How about you, the camp baby with the strange head. Ok so we're not exactly bombing the moon (and yes NASA actually sent a bomb in to space today to blow up a crater on the moon), but tonight FX airs the first episode of Life on Mars *drum roll please* US! The question everyone is asking, "Will it be as good as the British version?" If I may speak frankly, yes. OK ok hold your horses Philip Glenister fanatics. I'll set the scene for you:
