I have been a fan of NCIS ever since I watched an episode halway through the first season, and since watching the re-runs, I caught up and have never missed an episode since. I don't usually join forums, but after seeing something tonight, I had to see if somebody else noticed something and if not, write it on a forum. Another series Mark Harmon was in,from 1979 was 240Robert, this was another series I enjoyed watching and tonight I found a website for the series and made a discovery.

Mark Harmon plays Gibbs, in McGee's books, Gibbs' character is Tibbs, In the series 240Robert Mark Harmon's character was called Deputy Dwayne Thibideaux "Thib" this name looking at a video clip from the series, is pronounced Tibb. Bit of a coincidence.

But another coincidence is the 240Robert series Stunt Co-ordinator, who's name is Alan R. Gibbs.

Yes you are right about the name Deputy Dwayne Thibideaux "thib" is right to the name tibb which is like tibbs McGee's character in his book based on gibbs himself.

I did not Know that the Stunt Co-ordinator from 240Robert was called Alan R. Gibbs.
