It's obviously American Dad! American Dad! American Dad!
It's head and shoulders over The S******* and S**** P*** as well as King of the Hill.
There are no cutaways in American Dad like Family Guy.
American Dad can deal with issues of homosexuality,eating disorders and domestic violence. Family Guy could but given the amount of cutaway jokes they'd do the messages would be lost. Also American Dad has better songs.
Once you accept American Dad as a seperate show in it's own right and not "Family Guy Part 2" it's becomes the best thing on TV at the moment.
A more interesting question should be "Is Family Guy better than The Cleveland Show?" (When it eventually gets shown in U.K.)
You can pick three favourite characters out of Family Guy, American Dad has much tougher choices.
Stan Smith is a psycho but has done more with his life than Peter Griffin. Roger the Alien is better than Brian as he is the most selfish alien in the world. And Francine Smith is sexier than Lois Griffin but that's where I stop comparing the shows...
And Steve Smith has more friends than Chris Griffin. Klaus the Goldfish is more interesting and funnier than Meg. But Stewie is better than Hayley. I'll give you that one! The third box set is the best ever. This show is really starting to peak, get onboard quickly!
