is it true FX are currently makiing a programme about the wire featuring all the people who love it? I've heard Charlie Brooker and Alexei Sayle amongst many others are involved, does anyone have any info?
This post is really old now....but for those of us like myself who are just stumbling on the the show called the wire the behind the scenes show that is being talked about in the above post is called "tapping the wire" & it does indeed involve Charlie Brooker.
